They're really quite friendly folk, these Romans... Was great to have the @AntonineGuard over at @Innerpeffray as part of our 'Roman Strathearn', made possible by @GannochyTrust.

@Innerpeffray today. There's a talk on the Romans in Caledonia and even some legionaries! The library is a truly hidden gem in the middle of Perthshire countryside, with a trove of books dating back centuries.
More people should visit it!

That just flew up! Interlacing turf with thin branches apparently helped the Romans cast up their ramparts very quickly. Gave it a first trim to tidy up the sides, and back tomorrow for finishing touches. Thanks for a great day @EdinArchSoc, @HGendersBoyd and @ComrieCroft
