Probably shouldn't have stayed up this late reading it but I have now finished Dune! Absolutely adored my time with this, wasn't aware what was changed for the movies but honestly most of them made sense! Maybe my opinion will change with rewatches of those and a reread of this

Reading since part 3 comes out soon 😁

Really excited to get to the rest of these but I think I'll read Absolute Batman next, after two detail heavy books in a row I think that'll be fun :)

"Matt reeves is stopping Batman from being in the DCU and keeping the character isolated to an excellent standalone franchise"
f4 hype g@Fantastic4HypeG22h
You all won’t admit it, but I will. Matt Reeves hogging the Batman character and taking 7 years to release a fucking Batman movie is costing the DCU’s success It’s hard for general audiences to care about fucking Clayface when he can’t even fight Batman. Reeves is stingy af.

Finished the first open area of Metro Exodus and then they throw me into a more linear section like you'd find in the first two games and it's way better

Still liking this one a lot! Just not sure this direction is a good fit for the series

The fun thing about this is that it all comes from the same thing everything does, Star Wars fans hate women

The entire original trilogy beats you over the head with how much Luke is like Anakin/Vader but no we gotta force Leia into having a positive relationship with her abusive dad

No it's not okay for Leia to refuse to forgive Anakin for killing her mother, blowing up her planet and torturing her on top of all the evil shit he did. He said sorry :((((

Now I think about it Anakin fans want a lot of things and the sooner we stop giving them what they want all the time we can start to move on

Anakin fans so desperately want Leia to be like him and refusing to forgive or even acknowledge him despite her hating his guts it's so funny, you already got Luke man!

A new ‘ALIEN’ movie is in the works. • It will be connected to ‘Prometheus’ and ‘Covenant’ • Aaron Guzikowski (‘Prisoners’, ‘Raised by Wolves’) is writing the script (Source: hollywoodreporter.com/movies…)
