We are very excited to welcome families to the Croxley Danes Open Day! Come up and see us in science
So so proud of all of our GCSE students! They have worked so hard and have some amazing results! Whatever is next, we wish you all the success in the world!
Very excited for all our year 13 receiving their results tomorrow! You are all fantastic and we hope that you all achieve to go where you have your heart set on! See you tomorrow! 馃檶馃檶馃憣
Everyone has done an excellent job with their serial dilution assay! We have to wait until tomorrow to find out the winners!
Year 12 biologists are back at @imperialcollege (the 2nd best university in the world!!!) for 2 days of lab work, experience courtesy of Dr Tom McKinnon
Mrs Evans came across this little visitor in school today! Shows our grassland, pond area and other habitats are thriving. It鈥檚 a gorgeous little barred grass snake. These are non-venomous and often live near freshwater and also edge habitats like edges of fields!
We had a fabulous day at Kew Gardens yesterday with the Y12 Biologists learning all about biodiversity and conservation. We had a session with Kew staff in the morning (who were very impressed by our brilliant biologists) and then activities in the glasshouses in the afternoon.
Year 7 were absolutely incredible today on their enrichment day! They had to research an ancient artefact! The work they all produced was absolutely superb! Well done year 7!

When you are told an assay needs to be above 0.95 to be accepted and the whole class achieve above 0.95! Brilliant work y12!
Day 2 at Imperial for the Y12 biologists and lots of lovely bacteria have grown on our plates - replicating up some important plasmids for Dr McKinnon's team to use in their research! @imperial
