They were among a dozen teams that were predicted to win the championship this year. You are definitely wrong about the odds barely moved. After the Indiana game there isn’t one handicapper we talked to thought this roster was a contender going forward.
Maybe you are overrating the roster. This team doesn’t have bunch of 1st round picks on it this year. Only Smith is projected as a lock to be drafted in the draft.
Ohio State doesn’t have a Top Tier OL and haven’t had a dominant edge rusher since Chase Young.
Now, all that is left is beating a pathetic Michigan team.
