One thing I love about Indian weddings is that every state has its own way of celebrating. The clothes, food, rituals, music, everything changes from one region to another. It’s still a wedding but the whole vibe feels different everywhere. That’s what makes Indian weddings so special
As kids, we fought with our friends over the smallest things and were laughing together again a few hours later. Nobody needed a paragraph explaining their feelings or kept score of who hurt whom more. Somewhere along the way, growing up taught us to hold grudges, overthink everything and walk away. Sometimes we all miss how simple friendship used to be.
We’ve normalized being constantly exhausted so much that resting now feels like wasting time.
You sleep and feel guilty for not being productive.
You take a break and start thinking about everything you should be doing.
Even doing nothing feels like something you need to justify.
Maybe we’re not lazy, Maybe we’re just tired of living like every minute has to be productive.
Every night i go to bed thinking tomorrow I'll wake up early and get my life together. I'll have a proper morning routine, eat healthy and be productive for once. Then morning comes and suddenly none of those things sound appealing anymore. At this point my biggest talent is making plans at night and abandoning them by morning.
One of my friend always pays for everyone when we're out, so people assume he's doing really well financially.
Yesterday, he admitted he's been struggling to manage his own expenses.
It reminded me that just because someone never makes you feel their financial problems doesn't mean they don't have any.
Imagine being so desperate for physical affection that you can’t even behave in public during a religious festival. Can couples seriously not find a room or some private space anymore? Get a room, grow up, and stop forcing strangers to witness your lack of decency

Yesterday I overheard my neighbour telling her daughter, 'Log kya kahenge?' when the girl said she wanted to live life on her own terms.
The girl went quiet.
It’s sad how some children learn to silence themselves before they even learn how to make their own decisions.

I genuinely don’t understand how couples wake up and start kissing before even brushing their teeth. Like, have you considered the morning breath, the bacteria, the whole hygiene situation?
And honestly, boys doing this is fine for a while but why girls are so okay with it. Like girl, who is forcing you to accept a mouth-to-mouth bacterial exchange before toothpaste has even entered the conversation?
