Most traders think they take profit "too early".
90% of the time, they're right.
If they had held for longer...their trade would have made them more money.
But "leaving money on the table" isn't usually a problem.
It all depends on how you define "too early".
(1) Too early = You exited before your rules said to
That's a mistake.
Work out what triggered you.
Then learn to improve your reaction to that trigger.
(2) Too early = You followed your rules, but price continued pumping
This is NOT a mistake.
You had a system, you followed it, and you won your trade.
We don't care about profiting from 1 trade.
We care about maximising profit over 100s of trades.
The real mistake here would be getting caught in the mindset of:
"I should have made more money"
And then suddenly extending your profit targets or FOMOing into other trades.
Instead, keep your rules consistent for 30 trades.
Then look back at your journal.
IF extending your profit targets would have made you more money over those 30 trades, extend them.
IF extending your profit targets would have lost you money, then keep them the same.

$BTC is up ~43% in Q3 heading into Wednesday's quarterly close.

Price is flat at $84K. Flows aren't. Something to watch.
