That gap isn't a technology problem. @Checkout's 2026 research found 75% of merchants say the deciding factor for adoption is real-time permission revocation, not speed or intelligence.
On September 18th, the @USOCC granted conditional approval for national trust charters to three firms, including @catena_labs, whose ledger is built specifically for AI agents:
