The Boring Company has rolled its massive 900,000-pound Prufrock-5 tunnel boring machine onto Morgan’s Inclusion Campus in San Antonio. The machine will build a nearly mile-long (about 0.8-mile) underground tunnel so visitors of every ability can travel across the campus—home to Morgan’s Wonderland, the world’s first theme park designed from the ground up for full accessibility and inclusion—without braving Texas heat, rain, or surface traffic. Tunneling is expected to begin once remaining permits clear. While some on the left cast Musk as a villain, San Antonio is treating him as a neighbor who is helping expand access for everyone.

Boring Company is working on a simple, precursor Hyperloop tunnel between Austin and San Antonio (>200 mph). Due to traffic congestion, that journey can currently take up to 2.5 hours. @BoringCompany can reduce that to a consistent <30 mins.
