BTC’s 4-year cycle timing mostly held. Top was Oct 2025 (~$126k), about 18 months after the 2024 halving—same window as prior cycles.
One year later it’s ~$85k, down ~33%. The low so far was June/July 2026 near $58k (−54%), not October. Price is already up ~45% from that low.
Old bears lasted ~12 months and dropped 77–87%. This one was shorter and much shallower so far. If June holds, the bottom came early. If not, Q4 is still the historical window.
Returns keep shrinking. Next halving is ~April 2028. Cycle timing is intact-ish; the size of the moves is not.
IBIT vs MSTR — quick summary for a post:
IBIT = Spot Bitcoin ETF (BlackRock)
• Clean ~1:1 Bitcoin exposure
• 0.25% fee
• No leverage, no dilution, tracks Bitcoin closely
MSTR = Strategy stock (Bitcoin treasury company)
• Levered/amplified Bitcoin exposure
• Higher volatility + upside in bulls
• Risks: debt, share dilution, mNAV premium/discount swings
TL;DR:
Want pure Bitcoin? → IBIT
Want leveraged Bitcoin + company risk? → MSTR
Both are easy to buy in a brokerage. Not financial advice.

🇺🇸 FRANKLIN TEMPLETON'S BITCOIN-ACCUMULATING ETFs EXPECTED TO LAUNCH SOON
ETF analyst Nate Geraci says Franklin Templeton's two new Bitcoin DRIP ETFs, $FBEQ and $FIBT, are nearing launch, with SEC filings listing an October 27 effective date.
The funds introduce a new approach to Bitcoin accumulation by automatically reinvesting dividends from US stocks into Bitcoin exposure rather than distributing that income to investors.
Both target roughly 95% exposure to U.S. equities and 5% to Bitcoin:
- $FBEQ: Tracks a large-cap U.S. stock index covering approximately 500 companies, with a 0.09% annual management fee.
- $FIBT: Tracks an innovation-focused index of 100 U.S. companies, with a 0.19% annual management fee.
The strategy systematically converts stock dividends into additional Bitcoin exposure while maintaining Bitcoin as a secondary portfolio allocation.
Rather than requiring investors to sell stocks or contribute new capital to accumulate Bitcoin, the ETFs effectively turn corporate dividends into a recurring source of Bitcoin demand.
The October 27 date marks the planned effectiveness of the registration, not necessarily the first day of trading.

JIM CRAMER BULLISH ON BITCOIN:
"Own some as a hedge against the $38 trillion. They want to own it for their kids. And you know who else feels that way?... Me."
"I don't want that debt for my kids, I'm worried about my kids."
"Why don't you buy some Bitcoin."
Lets hope! Q4 bottom would be EPIC! Then setup for BTC 4 years cycle with 3 years up starting 2027!

Remember Q4 2026 is the 4 year cycle bear low. We still have Nov and Dec to play out. If BTC reclaims $87k - higher highs into 2027.
