@AvivaInvestors has added a tokenized share class of its £22 billion Sterling Liquidity Fund on the XRP Ledger.
This follows the USD liquidity fund class launched in July.
The two tokenized classes now hold more than £86 million combined.
Assets remain with traditional custody while the tokens sit on XRPL.
It expands regulated money market access onto the ledger.

Sunday recap: Franklin Templeton stacks $150M on XRPL
@FTI_US issued about $150M of sgBENJI shares on the XRP Ledger Thursday.
Two $75M cash subscriptions lifted the on-chain balance from roughly 48 million to nearly 193 million shares, valued near $200M at the recorded $1.039 price, with every share landing in one wallet that shares authorized signers with the issuer.
That is concrete institutional inventory moving onto $XRP rails while broader risk assets stayed soft.
It sits alongside DTCC's Tokenization Service, due by month-end on @CantonNetwork (public) plus Besu, starting with 25 securities and about $30T in eligible value.

@progmat_en’s Digital Asset Co-Creation Consortium published the interim summary from its 69-organisation working group on tokenized Japanese government bonds and on-chain repo.
The group is moving from desk study into a live verification phase, with a Canton Network sandbox that will use test tokens for bonds, deposits and stablecoins.
Kickoff is targeted for November once platform linkages are ready. A further interim summary is planned for spring 2027.
The design keeps existing book-entry JGBs and focuses on repo settlement and collateral workflows.

$XRP | Arf brings RLUSD settlement liquidity to XRPL
@Arf_One is partnering with @Ripple to supply short-duration RLUSD working capital on the XRP Ledger for licensed cross-border payment companies.
Arf handles about $10B in annual settlement volume.
The capital is typically repaid in one to five days as payments settle.
Once XLS-65 and XLS-66 go live, Arf plans to move more of the activity onto XRPL’s native lending infrastructure.

$XRP | Ripple files comment on SEC Regulation Crypto Assets
@Ripple CLO @s_alderoty confirmed the company filed its comment letter supporting the SEC’s proposed Regulation Crypto Assets.
The letter says the investment contract is the security, not the token, and that oversight ends once an issuer’s promises finish.
Ripple spent more than $150 million seeking clarity and wants rules grounded in Howey instead of case-by-case enforcement.
Clearer rules would cut the cost of uncertainty that has kept capital and products offshore.

They want the March 2026 digital commodity definition and non-security status written into the binding rule text, not left in the preamble.

@HyperliquidPC today filed a comment letter supporting the SEC’s proposed Regulation Crypto Assets.
The letter backs the framework that would open token offerings of up to $75 million a year and a safe harbor when a token no longer depends on its developers, while asking for five refinements on airdrops, secondary trading, the safe harbor and state preemption.
This is the group tied to Hyperliquid pushing for clearer U.S. rules on how tokens can be issued and traded without the old Howey uncertainty that pushed many projects offshore.

The XRP Ledger's fixCleanup3_4_0 amendment has 29 of 35 trusted validators, exactly the threshold.
It reached majority on 9 October, so the earliest activation is around 09:34 UTC on 23 October if support stays above 80%.
The package fixes vault rounding, lending protocol checks, AMM clawback, trust lines, NFTs and a PaymentBurn permission loophole that could mint instead of burn.
