For the first time since it launched I own 0 $DOT. It's a sad day for me. No one believed in @Polkadot and @gavofyork more than I did. I still believe that Dot/Jam may have a bright future. But as an investor I couldn't justify holding $DOT anymore. Clearly the people with control of the treasury don't have a clear vision for how to bring value to the token. They have profited for years off of voting themselves money, while leaving the token holders to watch the price plummet and stay near ATL's for 4 years.
I have moved my DOT investment all into $MYTH @EnterTheMythos @playmythical. It too is near ATL's but has a much clearer plan for letting investors share in its success. It gets to use DOTs tech, but has proven that it can attract users and has a leader @johnwastaken who understands that in the end users are what matters. Myth is obviously a small cap gaming project, and this is not financial advice, but I strongly believe that $MYTH is a better investment right now than $DOT.

1. Vocal Communicators:

Walruses are highly vocal, producing a range of sounds like barks and grunts, especially during the bull market with some calls audible over a mile away under the $Sui.
2. Whisker Sensitivity: Their whiskers, or vibrissae, are incredibly sensitive, capable of detecting tiny vibrations and textures. This helps them locate things like squids called $ika, even in $deep murky waters.
3. Blubber Benefits: Walruses have a thick layer of blubber (up to 6 inches) that not only insulates them in frigid market conditions but also serves as an energy reserve during long bear markets when food is scarce. The storage capabilities of $Wal are impressive.
4. Tusk Versatility: Their iconic tusks, which can grow up to 3 feet long, almost as tall as me, aren’t just for show. Walruses use them to haul themselves onto Full $Sail ships.

Amazing news for the entire @SuiNetwork community. If you’re in Sui and didn’t think you would have been affected because you didn’t have funds on @CetusProtocol, you’re wrong. This could have been a massive setback for the entire community. Let’s vote yes to return the frozen funds and combined with this we can move forward stronger than ever.
Sui Foundation is providing Cetus with a secured loan as part of a plan to quickly compensate user losses in full. The Cetus team will use these loan proceeds together with assets from their treasury to cover losses from the stolen funds that have been bridged out of the Sui network. This loan will allow Cetus to cover losses beyond what Cetus could fund on their own. These funds apply only to cover the bridged assets, and are separate from the frozen funds subject to the onchain community vote.
These are extraordinary measures taken to protect the Sui community. Taken together with the onchain community vote proposal, a full recovery is possible. Sui Foundation stands strong in its efforts to support its members.

Think Web3 gaming isn’t here yet. Think again. You just didn’t realize it’s Web3. As it should be. The biggest successes will be games that most people have no idea and don’t care that they are “Web3”. They will just be games that players love.
Don't have too many #Ethereum projects in my portfolio these days. But one I am still super bullish on is @ether_fi @ether_fi_Fdn. Love the vision that @MikeSilagadze and this team is executing. Fundamental season will have its day and Etherfi will get the attention it deserves.
The negative reaction to this proposal confuses and surprises me. I was in a space yesterday and everyone was celebrating the Sui ecosystem community, how strong and positive it is. The comments on this post show otherwise. Is this ideal? No. Did Cetus make a big mistake? Clearly. Sui is still a young chain. I don’t see a downside to this. Perhaps in the future something like this should not be allowed. But the 160million+ frozen is money that belongs to early adopters of the chain. Who were participating and helping to grow the ecosystem. Since there is a way to recover these funds, why wouldn’t that be done? How does this have a downside to anyone else on the chain? The alternative is way worse for the whole ecosystem in my opinion. You are not punishing Cetus by voting no, you are punishing your fellow community members. Cetus was one of the first and biggest DEXs on Sui. It was often praised repeatedly by Mysten and the Foundation. If people trusted Cetus, they trusted them partly because of the support shown by Mysten and the Foundation. They cannot wash their hands of this and claim no responsibility. This is still a very young ecosystem. The loss of that amount of liquidity, provided by probably thousands of ecosystem members would be devastating to the whole community, not just those who would lose funds.
🚨 Dear Sui community,
We are working diligently together with Inca Digital, security and analytics providers, and law enforcement officials across the world to recover the $60M worth of stolen funds.
In parallel, we are asking the Sui community to support a protocol upgrade to recover the $162M of frozen funds and return them to their rightful owners.
No one can make this decision unilaterally. We propose an on-chain vote involving the network’s major participants, including validators and SUI stakers, to decide on whether this upgrade is in the best interest of the Sui community. We want to recover and return the stolen funds, but we will respect whatever the community decides.
Thank you for your patience. We will work closely with Sui validators and the Sui Foundation on the details of implementing our proposed vote.
