I’m not sure why people who have no idea what they’re talking about keep insisting on showing it. That $50k is often for several years of unpaid work, it may be the only wage you get for several more, you lose half of it to fees, and if you have a partner, you split it!

This is why I like Darth Vader in Star Wars (1977) way more than I do in any other project. In this movie, he's portrayed way closer to the Emporer's weird Rasputin Monk friend than anyone with an actual role in the government, so everyone barely puts up with the fact he's there
