We/@GCSAA should take this to a different level. I don’t need thanks, I get to prepare a piece of land for play daily and love it! Instead, get with Golf Channel and TV networks and flood for 1 PGA event all about what we do and provide for golf and nature and not ask for thanks?
GCSAA, in conjunction with other global superintendent groups, is recognizing those who are essential to golf’s success with international “Thank a Golf Course Superintendent Day” on Sept. 9. The social media messages from 2024 reached 14 million followers around the world. gcsaa.org/who-we-are/media/n…

When I was old enough to know what baseball was and who I was going to root for, He was one of the reasons why I bleed Cubbie Blue to this day. RIP Ryno #23
Let’s go kiddo!!!
Such a delight for Lauren and I to have lunch with our amazing rock star intern @AlyKallas while in Colorado!! 🤩
Maybe @PrimeVideo should have picked up the fight instead of the buffering @netflix. Oops, we thought we would be ok…

Would you rather have one form of regulation in place or what’s being proposed in HB-1178 next Thursday, that would allow both County and/or City to regulate your sprays? If it passes, your County could be ok with your spray but your City may say no! leg.colorado.gov/bills/hb24-…
From the @GCSAAConference into time away with wife seeing her parents comes to an end. Great weather and some fun golfing with my Father in Law on his tracks was perfect. Sun City West has some
fun hidden gems for courses with awesome, firm green complexes.
After Conference vacation continues in AZ. Today a great (yet breezy) day playing Estrella with @ChadParron and the father in law. Thanks to @pschief_turf and team for having us out. Place was awesome minus a ball in a bush and losing big in 2 downs!

This week we want to feature Saddle Rock Golf Course located in Aurora. Out of 41 courses, Saddle Rock was the 4th top producing Colorado Youth on Course Partner in 2023 with 1,098 YOC rounds.
Saddle Rock is open to the public. It was one of the former homes of the Colorado Open as well as other numerous statewide amateur and professional events. Saddle rock has become a preferred destination for a higher-end golf experience in the Denver metro area.

Josh is just one of the SR stars that makes what we do possible. It’s not me or the other 4 Aurora Golf Supers that needs the thanks today, it’s all of these guys who get up at Dark:30 daily to get things ready for everyone to enjoy. Should be #thankthegolfcoursestaffday @GCSAA
Flags placed on 9 and 11 greens today to remember those that lost their lives for no reason at all and those that lost their lives helping. 🇺🇸 #NeverForget #SRTurfTeam
