Ok. I can FINALLY share this with y’all. I produced a mini-documentary about DC’s #Blackbroadway! Watch the full project at funkparade.com ⚡️
It’s the story of a little street in DC that laid the foundation for Black excellence in America. ❤️
[AIGHT SO BOOM] This is me, and the guy on the screen is Justin Rood, co-founder of the #DCFunkParade in a mini-documentary that [I produced.]
This is also me in my truest form, creating projects that matter to my community and me and taking risks.

Adia’s performance in your mother (x3) is so captivating that even in scenes with Mahershala, who is as great as ever, I found myself more focused on her. She’s definitely on my radar now!

Sorry guys I think Snoh Aalegra is very limited as a vocalist, benefits from pretty privilege and the industry turn on black music as a whole, and I also think she is a premier writer (and can back it up) and melodically interesting. I like her music and agree with the underpinnings of the critiques.
