Alleluia! Christ is risen!
Five Easter Holy Communions celebrated across the benefice (and my excellent Lay Reader celebrated another two by Extension)!
#HappyEaster
O Lord Jesu Christ,
Son of the living God,
set thy passion, cross and death
between thy judgement and our souls,
now and in the hour of our death.
Grant mercy and grace to the living,
rest to the departed,
to thy Church peace and concord
and to us sinners...

... forgiveness,
and everlasting life and glory;
for, with the Father and the Holy Spirit,
rhou livest and reignest,
ever one God, world without end.
Amen.

"What do you bring to the foot of the cross...?"
Six moving reflections on scripture by members of the Benefice Ministry Team #GoodFriday
As the day draws to a quiet end, with Emails sent and visits over, I remember the early morning churchyard blossom as a dream long ago...
Our last 'Thoughtful Tuesday' of Lent was rigorous, encouraging, and with moments of tearful testimony.
Then a lovely catch-up with many other parishioners in the locals bar! #VillagePubMinistry
A tasty Lent Lunch, with APCM following :)
Challenges ahead, but officer roles populated and healthy finances #RuralMinistry
A generous gift from a parishioner, as a thank you for the strength of my witness to God's ministry 馃晩

A beautiful afternoon funeral was had, with gospel opportunity amidst the pastoral care... perhaps not unconnected to the impromptu bible study during a home visit this morning! #OneLord
BCP Morning Prayer has been celebrated 馃檹
"My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed : I will sing, and give praise." #Psalm57
A clean and crisp APCM - much like the wine served following - with two Churchwardens elected!
