Mike Curb signed Tim McGraw, LeAnn Rimes, Hank Williams Jr. He's been running @CurbRecords for 60 years. I asked him how you keep 30 artists going when their records don't hit and they're ready to give up. He said it's the same thing as raising kids: "I have two daughters. They didn't wake up happy every day. They had challenges. But we tried to provide a positive home and put all the odds in their favor. I can't say we made them happy all the time. Some artists do get very down when their records don't hit. But that's what makes them an artist. They're human beings. You can please some of the artists all the time. All the artists some of the time. But not all the artists all the time."
