This is not a simple protest. They wear their former uniforms and remind the world who they were, and who they still are. “I was a doctor.” “I was a police officer.” “I was a teacher.” “I was a university student.” “I was an athlete.” “I was a supporter.” Today, the Taliban have pushed them out of their jobs, education, and public life. Yet these Afghan women members of Women’s Courage Movement continue to raise their voices from a small room in Kabul. They have lost their freedom, but they have not lost their courage. Their voices must be heard. Where is the UN? #WomenCourageMovement #FreeAfghanistan

Fun fact: I qualify for UC on a nurse‘s fulltime salary in London Maybe tough love the super wealthy & tax them more to pay the rest of us better wages
1 in 8 brits are now on universal credit. This is crazy. It's not sustainable. Time for some tough love to get people self reliant again.

Farage and the NHS is trending I see 👀 It would be a shame to keep resharing this video of him talking about privatising the NHS to make money wouldn’t it? 😇

I'll tell you who does 'rely on benefits'. It's the supermarket chains that pay their bosses millions of pounds a year while driving shopworker wages down to levels that force staff to claim Universal Credit.

As we watch hollywood barrel towards a paramount Warner bros merger, this movie should remind us of what may be lost. The relationship between movies and journalism is without question one of the most important parts of a democracy. Having choice in a multi studio system with a news media that is completely independent of those studios cannot be undervalued, nor its importance overstated. This movie would not have been made in a Paramount/Warnerbros/CNN /Trump era. Just never would have happened. That’s what’s at stake. Trump and Hegseth have told us so. “Separation between News and Power”. Should be our new “separation between church and state”. theguardian.com/us-news/2026…

There is no way the UK should be allowing the USA to use British bases to,carry out these attacks. They would be War Crimes. Please RT if you agree.🇬🇧

The Geneva Convention says it’s a war crime to target journalists, even if they work for an enemy organisation. It’s also a war crime to target medical workers. After the killing of 3 Lebanese TV journos last week, several medics coming to help them were killed as well.

Look at this photo. A woman holds up a noose and a lethal injection, celebrating Israeli plans to introduce the death penalty for Palestinians. Her husband holds a gun labelled 'occupation', a plane labelled 'expulsion', and a house labelled 'settlement'. This grinning, leering spectre is the deputy speaker of the Knesset, the Israeli Parliament. youtube.com/watch?v=kpZefoQ5…

Working class geezer Tom Skinner attended one of the most expensive schools on earth, has a criminal conviction for handling £40K worth of stolen goods and 2,000 diazepam tablets, cheated on his wife, has met JD Vance, and has joined Reform UK. #bbcqt doesn't mention any of that.

The opportunity to study creative subjects should be open to ALL young people.
Lower-income pupils are steered away from creative subjects such as art, music and drama, @CamEdFac research suggests, with particular concerns about the impact on girls tes.com/magazine/news/genera…

Human Rights Watch documented Israel’s use of white phosphorus munitions over the southern Lebanese town of Yohmor on March 3, firing the incendiary weapon over residential areas and sparking fires in at least two homes. Ahmad Baydoun, an open-source intelligence researcher at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, mapped 248 Israeli white phosphorus strikes across southern Lebanon, finding 39% hit civilian areas. Lebanese authorities say Israeli attacks have killed more than 1,000 people since March 2 and forced more than 1 million people to flee from their homes — at least 16% of Lebanon's total population.
