There's SO much more to the FazSportz story. I've pieced together a timeline of where he came from, how he built his following, the stories he 'broke', the fake giveaway, his possible motives, and some of the frankly 'Faztastical' things he told people privately about himself. Faz reached out by email last night to apologise. We exchanged several messages, and to his credit, he answered a lot of my questions, including making some significant admissions about the giveaway. He then deactivated his X account again, shortly after I sent him a further set of questions about claims he'd made to others concerning his professional background. He says the racial abuse became too much, which I take seriously. His account was protected, replies were disabled, and I couldn't find any public mentions when I checked at around 11pm UK time. That doesn't rule out abuse in DMs, and I've offered to investigate and call out anyone responsible. Anyway, I've got some actual work to get through first. Then I'll put the full story together.
