I don't want to be a wet blanket...but I don't buy the hype around the recent "Noah's Ark" headlines. This kind of thing routinely pops up every year or so.

Why do we keep making movies about children searching for their missing mother or father?
Because Hollywood knows it will resonate with everybody sitting in the theater.
One of the most foundational human questions, is "who am I?" It's very hard for kids to answer if they cannot first answer, "WHOSE am I?"
But thanks to #GayMarriage we've normalized homes where children will always be missing one or both biological parents. And then we tell those kids that this is not a loss, it's progress.
That's not equality. It's national gaslighting.
