What a day! Our first full day in Sydney included a coach tour & walking tour of downtown Sydney. We took a ferry ride past the Sydney Opera House, looked out over Sydney from the Sydney Sky Tower, & toured the Hyde Park Barracks. – at Sydney, New South Wales
Hell’s Gate Spa is where some of us headed today. The geothermal mud pool + sulfur pools melted all travel stress away. 🌞 Some of us did a cold plunge challenge for 2 min!! – at Rotorua District, New Zealand
Then ….we learned about jade, took a gondola 🚠 up a mountain, rode a ‘duck’, visited the agrodome, & ended the night w/ dinner & a show in a Maori village. – at Rotorua District, New Zealand
We visited the Maori village in Rotorua & got a chance to see their big geothermal geyser. We even ate corn cooked in geothermal HOT water. Very busy day today!! – at Rotorua District, New Zealand
At dinner, we celebrated the bday of fellow traveler Katie w/ a Tim Tam cake. To top it off, the flight crew on our long flight wrote us a special note & gave us some swag of decks of cards & keychains. @D127GetsReal @meg_lopez – at Rotorua District, New Zealand

Our group boarded our ‘coach’ in Auckland for a 4 hr drive to Rotorua, NZ. – at Rotorua District, New Zealand
Just landed in Melbourne & we’re waiting for our flight to Auckland, NZ We had the most amazing & kind flight crew w/ Qantas from LAX. – at Sydney, New South Wales
Six months ago we began as students, learning how to experience the world as travelers, not just tourists….
Tomorrow we become travelers!
