Recruits: Go where you are wanted.
Here's why 👇
D.J. Campbell, @stocktonospreys MBB all-time leading scorer (2,178 points) and current overseas pro in Poland shares a lesson from D3 his recruiting process
Despite living close by to a number of schools, only one recruited him seriously - Stockton
We get a lot of questions about how you can know when a school or coach is serious and there's no better example than D.J.'s personal story
In short, you will know because they'll make it clear that you are wanted
Btw he's averaging 28 PTS, 5 AST, and 3 REB in Poland right now...not bad for a D3 guy

Immediately after a game, @Bates_WBB's Alison Montgomery tries to say...less
Or at least that is the goal every season
She aims to take 24 hours & watch film of the game fully before sharing her feedback with her team
In her place, the players often speak up and take the lead with post-game messaging
This was just one of the many interesting coaching notes from Coach Montgomery in this week's Live Q&A - for more check out the full recording on our newsletter

Emory's star guard Ben Pearce transferring to @ManhattanMBB for his 5th year under the new rules
Good luck Ben, #d3hoops is rooting for you!
Go where you are wanted
Recruiting Advice: as you navigate this last year of HS, seriously consider the school that has SHOWN you they want you the most. It may not fit or work, but find every reason to say no before you actually say no. Don’t worry about “level” or any of that. Sit down, and really look at what coaches have shown you are a PRIORITY to them and their program.
