Due to yesterday’s heavy rains & lack of drying conditions since, Zilker Park is saturated & unable to support the Trail of Lights without posing safety risks & park damages. The City of Austin has closed the park & cancelled tonight’s Trail of Lights.

Parking reductions are important and were part of the resolution regarding changes to compatibility that will come back to Council in the fall. Also VMU reduces parking requirements and the newVMU2 reduces parking requirements even more along transit lines (by 60 percent)
