attended the india premiere of @ClayfaceMovieDC at PVR Maison, Jio World Drive, courtesy of @WarnerBrosIndia. i'm so glad we got an r-rated, uncensored body horror for a DC villain film (although there are certain parts which are blurred and cut). this is exactly the treatment i'd imagine for batman's rogue gallery. it is now proven, it can work beautifully! i wanna see poison ivy, scarecrow, killer croc and man-bat get this treatment. tom rhys harries delivers a tragic and menacing performance. mike flanagan beautifully mixes insecurity with the dark side of a person to build a strong character arc. i skipped every trailer of this film because i wanted to jump straight into its depiction of body horror. good decision. maybe you should too. i'm happy with DC's direction of telling adult stories of its characters in films and tv shows rather than chasing only entertainment. hope this streak continues. no mid- or post-credit scenes btw. go watch clayface! also, i loved this little collectible that we received! #ClayfacePremiereIndia
