DFB trade unions have secured a commitment from DCC to enter into an independent process to resolve this dispute. Industrial action deferred

This morning, whilst attending to a patient, one of our ambulance crews noticed smoke coming from a neighbouring house in Tallaght. The crew immediately ran to the house and rescued a person from one of the rooms. Fire crews from Tallaght and Dolphin's Barn extinguished the fire.

😬 That might be down to our little slagging the other day!!!
Maybe you’d like to drop into a station for a look around and check out the ambulances & trucks.
Might give you inspiration for the next book.
Let’s see if @DubFireBrigade can arrange?

Today, our Chief Fire Officer, Patrick Fleming, retired. A special off-going parade was held to mark this occasion. Pat has served as our Chief for 6 years, and has spent 15 years of his 40 year career with DFB. We wish him well in the next chapter of his life.

Earlier in West Dublin, one of our crews identified a STEMI heart attack and transported the patient directly to a PPCI centre. Time of onset to surgical intervention < 60 minutes.
Always take chest pain seriously, know the signs:

To help with the #watershortage situation we are restricting routine washing of our fleet. Two of our stations utilise stored rain water for the filling of the fire engine's tanks.
Love it when a plan comes together! Great to see you doing so well Paul xitter.cf/theechoonline/status/1…
WATCH 🎥: Paul Egan, the father of Olympic boxing champion and #Clondalkin Fine Gael councillor @kenegan30, praises the team of paramedics from @DubFireBrigade for saving his life after suffering a cardiac event. Pick up a copy of The Echo for the full story, out now!
This is the benefit of having DFB Fire/EMS model preserved for the people of Dublin. Large number of resources on scene in minutes. There are always over 100 paramedics/Advanced paramedics on duty, strategically placed around the city. Hoping for a quick recovery for all involved xitter.cf/dubfirebrigade/status/…
All our resources have left the scene of the #Clondalkin RTC. In total 4 Fire, 1 Rescue Tender, 1 District Officer, 4 DFB ambulances and our Advanced Paramedic vehicle attended. A number of resources from @AmbulanceNAS and @GardaTraffic attended. Approx 13 people treated. xitter.cf/GAodha/status/10111940…
