Baha'i Faith THREAD:
(1/19)
We started the Bahá’í Fast today - sunrise to sunset, 19 days.
I’m going to do a thing: 19 Days. 19 Insights.
One simple, intriguing fact about the Bahá’í Faith each day. Not to recruit you. Not to argue religion.
Just to spark curiosity - especially if you’re in that “I believe in God, but I’m tired of religion” season.
Because I get a little too many myths every time I tell people it is my Faith: “Bahá’í is for Indians.” “The Baha'i Temple is a secret place.” “People are sacrificed there.” (Wild. 😅) There are many others!
So I’ll do my best to clear the fog with truth, principles, and a little Uganda context.
If you’re curious, stay on this thread. If you’re skeptical, even better. #BahaiUG

Yesterday, we were privileged to host Lucky Elijah Babigumira, Rugby Head Coach at @Ntare_School, for a training session with the team.
This is an exciting step in our rugby development partnership with Ntare School, as we work towards strengthening the game, and creating more opportunities for rugby development.

I have 3 pics I took with AirporTaxi some 13 or so years ago... I keep looking at them and I feel I need all of @TuckerHDMusic, @MarthaSmallz & Llyboc's consent to share!
Eh, sometimes "we came from so far" is a tough explanation 😅

If you’re still sticking your head up watching the Ballon D’or this late late in the night, you’re a real football fan. Big up!

A touching Rwandan story made its way to the global stage at the #BallonDor
Through Bukayo Saka’s moving Sócrates Award speech, the story of #Byiringiro, a young Rwandan boy who overcame eyesight difficulties was cited. Indeed football can inspire hope and transform lives.
But who is Byiringiro? 🇷🇼
Nothing to confirm, really. We all knew who the Top 3 would be!
🚨 Ballon d’Or statement on the article fiasco
“Portraits of some Ballon d’Or nominees prepared by Ballondor.com were inadvertently published online.
“These articles had been prepared in advance for all nominees in the event of a win. They DO NOT, in any way, reveal the podium, which remains unknown to everyone at this time.”
Think it confirms the top 3, though
What a young man! What a way to go about that acceptance speech for the Socrates Award!
I pray there are more individuals that get in on this impact journey from that! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Ugandan sports journalist Andrew Kabuura will host the CAF group-stage draws live from Cairo, Egypt.
Urunani came out on top in that final game of the tourney. Congratulations, my brother, @Coachleo98.
There are always positives to pick from an overall negative.
Tough luck to the hosts. Great #RoadToBAL 2027 tournament overall. Onto the Elite 16!
And it's a wrap!
#RoadToBAL 2027! Day 5. #HeathensTuko
