NonKYC advertises an insurance fund to protect its users. So when $XTM holders were hit with a 50.74% cut to their balances, why wasn't a single dollar of it used?

@nonkyc_exchange has frozen all $XTM deposits, withdrawals and trading, and delisted the token.
Holders are locked out of their funds, with no timeline and no clear explanation.
Here's what we know, what users are reporting, and the questions NonKYC needs to answer 👇

#nonkyc_exchange asked Tari to cover the hole. When Tari declined, the full loss was passed to users.
Users who disputed it were met with insults, laughing emojis and "you should be happy you got at least 50%." Accounts asking questions, including ours, were blocked.
7/ #nonkyc_exchange, restore your users' balances using the insurance fund you promised. Exchanges that ignore their users don't tend to end well, just ask TradeOgre.

IMO it's bullish to see the @tari Council's full focus on shipping the Ootle right now. Following the GitHub daily, the network's getting stronger with every release... but we should start thinking about the post-Ootle strategy. Once it ships, what's the next Goliath?

The equivalent of 890 RTX 5090s, 3,200 Ryzen CPUs and 1,000+ ASICs is securing the @tari network. The $XTM market cap? ~$9M 🐢
DNC took a snapshot of today's hashrate across Tari's mining lanes and priced up the hardware behind it:
· GPU lane: ~890 RTX 5090s, ~$3.4M
· CPU lane: ~3,200 Ryzen 9 CPUs, ~$1.6M
· ASIC lane: ~1,060 dedicated miners, ~$1.1M
That's ~$6M of dedicated hardware... and that's before $XMR miners, who also secure Tari through merge mining. To attack the chain, you'd need to overpower several lanes at once, @monero's included.
The Ootle launches 11.11 on a network that's already battle-ready. The market just hasn't priced it in yet.
