Continuing the AO3 enstars situation... I was legit SCARED of ever posting my words because ReiAdo just isn't popular like that and I knew that no kudos would have made me self-conscious AS HELL but it's seeing other people write them with their entire hearts that made me-

-discover just how much I didn't need to matter at all in the first place... that writing was a skill I would continue and continue to develop no matter what ship or recognition I wanted to have in the future. I think it's better to support those who were in my place instead of-

-turning them down or complain that it's not long enough or the dynamic you want... Just like drawing, writing should not be defined by what others would want, but rather by what YOU as an artist want first 💜 It's just my thoughts on it, idk if I'm making sense heh...

never been more embarrassed to be in a fandom than now bc why do we feel the need to say enst ao3 'sucks' rn. many authors are not only adjusting and uploading according to their schedules but the majority of them do not have english as their first language anyways +

THIS ‼️ I would also add that commenting could go a long way for a writers determination to continue a fic or try to try other ships ‼️ Also, most people are absolutely fine with smaller fics, so don't feel like you need to churn out 5k+ in one go, so learn little by little 💜

24hrs late to this conversation but if you feel like there isn’t any content relating to your fave ship/fave character then perhaps it’s time to pick that laptop/pencil up and write it yourself. You’re not going to see change in a fandom if you don’t start trying

liking ibara and chitose is so funny because ibara will do evil things and go "Ahaha! I'm scum and deserve to die~☆" and chitose will do stupid shit and go "I'm sorry... Someone like me shouldn't be alive..." and like you kinda have to agree. Like lowkey yeah
