So, @AndrewsMcMeel, at least admit that somebody new inherited the #FarSide calendar editorial gig this year. Not only are Sat and Sun on a single page, but simple decisions like this panel not falling on a Monday point to an editor with no love in their heart for Gary Larson.

"Danhausen blurs the line between...real in the fictive world of pro wrestling and what is supposed to be his character’s own delusion. He is not “6-foot-7, probably,” as his self-reported measurements claim"...lovehausen this piece, but how no mention of @orangecassidy?
The @nytimes has a blurb (full articlehausen) about Danhausen written by @DangerBrooks. nytimes.com/2023/01/10/magaz…

⁦@NYCTSubway⁩ ⁦@KathyHochul⁩ What happened at 30 Av in Astoria? Morning commute rush and no employee’s attempting to do anything about the giant puddles of water along the stairs.

“Puddle” is too kind a word. This is 5 inches deep and spans 6-8 feet. A man on a cane had to give up and leave the station. Those of us in open-toe shoes had to decide whether to be late for work or start the day off disgusting. Station manager just stayed put in his booth.

@NYCTSubway @KathyHochul What in GOD’s name is going on with the N, W trains at Astoria Blvd?? Attendants told everyone to wait on one platform; train skips us. Told to move to opposite platform…next train skips THAT one! Come on.

I have told the story of the Haitian revolution before, but all you need to know is that when enslaved people in Haiti became the first nation in the history of the world to take control of their country, white people were SHOOK. xitter.cf/michaelha…
It was a dark and stormy night... (I’ve always wanted to tweet that) But seriously, there was a tropical storm when a group of people gathered in the woods. If they were white, we’d call them “founding fathers” but they were slaves who were about to change the world A thread

Today, as I wake up, I realize that I’m heading to rat infested Queens to wrestle in front of a capacity crowd of people who all wish they were me. To share a ring with Brian Pillman Jr the product of Methanie. Kill me.

“Wow. Cops killed a black man. Look at this video, he was begging for his life and they were laughing." "That's terrible. But fortunately, they can be prosecuted for murder. "Oh, my. You're new to America, aren't you? The prosecutor will decline to indict." "What? Why?"
