Ephemeral frames of reference : Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, etc. No demonstrable permanent value. Timeless frames of reference: family, friends (real ones) love, learning, creativity. Be mindful of your invested time in the valuable.
This debacle is also demonstrating that the term “influencer” is limited to a special frame of reference. If Twitter goes down, you “influence” is worth as much as some FTX shares. Zero. Be very careful if assigning value to these ephemeral frames of reference.
Making money is a skill, no doubt. But it’s not at the level of writing a symphony or a beautiful poem. Beethoven is a genius. Whitman, Dylan - they are geniuses. Not some dude who made some money. People do that all the time.
