Last summer, the World Cup reminded us that soccer can bring us together. In recent weeks, we have used soccer to pull college athletics and its soccer community apart. We deserve a better conversation.
A view from inside the room:
My thoughts on the future of D1 men's soccer.
Committee approval. Cabinet review. Sent back for clarification. Committee reaffirmation. Cabinet approval.
The flex model cleared multiple reviews and approvals. 95.5% of our players support it. Why are we still trying to stop it?
It’s time to move forward.

@ussoccer strongly supports the proposed new model for D1 men’s college soccer. Given ongoing debate, we wanted to share why this matters, how we engaged in the process, how feedback/concerns influenced the final model, and what happens next. Here’s to growing the game together.

For the weekend that we have just had a timely reminder to never forget the Sandy Hook 26.
Coaches! We have an opportunity and an obligation. Be the vehicle. Inspire and drive, empower and teach. Help young people grow and be better. Don’t use them as the vehicle for your own gain, your own ambition, your own agenda. Give them the game. We had ours, it’s theirs now.
Nice job @MikeWoitalla recognizing the hard work and commitment to the craft! @BrettUttley is one of the “Great Guys” in the game. Educated, humble and talented!

Who is ready?
It’s almost that time of year! Will Quinnipiac retain the title? Is Post ready to regain the trophy after their inaugural Championship? Or will be have a new name on the Trophy this Spring?
Welcome to the family young man!
We ❤️ when our pro players come home to train! Coach Jones putting Jared Mazzola through the paces just like old times!
So much and so many to be thankful for; family, friends, staff, administrators, players, teammates, etc. Be grateful for not only the people in our lives but also the experiences (both good and bad) along the way. Each of which shapes us and makes us better. We Win or We Learn!
