Mass Effect fans: the Battlefront community is united with you in wishing for the continued development of the next game in the saga.
Let us unite the Battlefront and Mass Effect communities in support of continuing both franchises.
Development on ‘STAR WARS: BATTLEFRONT 3’ has not begun yet.
EA chose to invest in ‘Battlefront 3’ instead of a new ‘Mass Effect’ game and shut down BioWare as a result.

truly think y'all are dragging it with the animation but
- that choppy look is the result of primarily animating on 3s (while most shows are on 2s)
- streaming ruined everything for cartoons. cable was more profitable, less $ goes in now
- less shows are animated on paper

All of Ruko’s lines were recorded remotely in my Alabama home studio. Slowly but surely, remote dubbing is becoming more accessible and I absolutely LOVE to see it. 🥹
Thank you, Todd, for inviting me to be part of this wonderful cast.

We say goodbye to another legend today 🕊️
Mike McFarland, the veteran voice actor, ADR director, scriptwriter and producer, has passed away at 56. For generations of anime fans, he was especially known as the original Funimation English voice of Master Roshi in Dragon Ball, alongside major roles in Attack on Titan, One Piece, Tokyo Ghoul and Fullmetal Alchemist.
Some of his most memorable characters included:
• Master Roshi — Dragon Ball
• Jean Kirstein — Attack on Titan
• Buggy the Clown — One Piece
• Koutarou Amon — Tokyo Ghoul
• Jean Havoc — Fullmetal Alchemist / Brotherhood
• Gordon Agrippa — Black Clover
• Mashirao Ojiro — My Hero Academia
• Carnage Kabuto — One-Punch Man
• Teppei Sugo — Psycho-Pass
• Yajirobe — Dragon Ball
• Ectoplasm — My Hero Academia
• Ryoji “Ranka” Fujioka — Ouran High School Host Club
• Cain Nightroad — Trinity Blood
His influence also extended far beyond the microphone. McFarland directed English dubs for major productions including Attack on Titan, Fullmetal Alchemist, Dragon Ball, the Rebuild of Evangelion films, Summer Wars and Wolf Children, helping shape how an entire generation experienced anime in English.
Rest in peace, Mike McFarland. From Master Roshi and Buggy to Jean Kirstein, his voice and work behind the scenes became part of countless anime memories. 🕊️

Early VO audio tip:
If your interface has additional processing, leave it off. “4K” “76 compressor” “vintage” “built in plug-ins” and if you’re not sure, leave it off.
These make your audio quality sound distinctly different than the rest of production
Your performance should stand apart, not your audio
