I have been revamping my website and added a little builder game to it (because why not?). It now has live weather and location data, so the time of day and weather match your live location. And yeah it’s pouring quite hard here.
Look how the sea reflects the moonlight 🌒🌊
More to come! Suggestions always welcome!
We believe voice is the most natural way to interact with intelligence, so we created Dessa, the most authentic full-duplex speech model ever built. Talking with it feels like talking with a person…full of emotion, nuance, pauses, and a natural cadence.

as bad as things have gotten in the past 4 days, they are going to get a lot worse before they get better. security leaders, never let a crisis go to waste: please go to your boards and ask for help right now. not for ai, for the basics. (we need to hold on for ~18 months.)

So excited to release our new app: Zen Garden
A relaxing puzzle trying to rake over 1000 different gardens in a single path.
Every pixel, sound, graphic, animation made using Opus 5.5. All code. This model is insane. Will do another post diving deep into the building process.

Tobi reposted our warehouse.
So we had Claude Opus 5.5 follow one Shopify order from the click to the door.
One of the best uses of @bot for me is to categorise all my @X bookmarks into a private repo so I can have al my coding agents to use that 'one library that saved sometime ago', saves me a ton of time. This is my library bot.
What I added a few days ago, is that every time it adds something to my library, it figures out whether this a skill one of my other bots should learn about; so yesterday I bookmarked @BHolmesDev post about the merge-risk skill, and today my eng bot inherits the skill automatically. A self-learning team of bots ✨
For those of you that are wondering, using @bot on X doesn’t work yet inside of the EU, or maybe never will.
We were chatting in the office the other day how you could see @benjitaylor ‘s fingerprint on the design and interactions of @bot and I think that’s a big part of the reason I love it so much. Thoughtful choices that make using it so addictive and easy ❤️
Most AI products look like a settings page with a chat box. @bot doesn't. You can really see @benjitaylor's hand in it. Fewer options, more answers. That is a design choice, not a model choice. More teams should copy this.
When I joined @TebiPlatform, an old POS screen really surprised me. Every button visible at once. Felt like a cockpit.
My designer brain wanted to clean it up. Progressive disclosure; show less, hide the rest in menus.
Then I watched someone work a dinner rush. 150+ orders a night, and they were fast. Muscle memory. Their finger was on the button before they even thought about it.
What looks like chaos to me is a shortcut for someone who uses it every day.
I thought I’d share my grok bot digest, which has been really helpful to keep in the loop about interesting @bot use cases and gives you a daily digest x.ai/bot/-pSLh59tqErNj2AtsB_…
When I moved from designer to PM last year, I figured the jump would be small. I'd been doing "product work" for years.
I was wrong. Managing a product meant my designer instincts stopped getting the last word.
Polish vs. shipping this week
Craft vs. cutting to what matters
The ideal version vs. the one we can afford
Detail vs. velocity
A year in, I still reach for the designer answer first. The difference is that now I notice.
Something I tell myself almost every day: If we ship today, we learn today.
If we ship next week, we learn next week. That gap compounds. A team that ships weekly instead of monthly doesn't just learn 4x faster. It makes better bets every round after that.
Designer me wanted it right first. As a PM I want it learning first.
Falling in love with @bot every day a bit more. The last week I took a long article tutorial style and had Grok Bot turn it into 120 Duolingo-style micro-lessons.
Every day at 9:00 I get one small task, a streak counter, and it won't count the day without proof.
Day 7: streak 7 🔥
Day 8–10: missed. Three days.
Turns out the perfect system still needs you to show up 🙃
One of the things as a newborn dad I struggled with — your brain does weird things on little sleep — was keeping track of when she was fed, how much did she drink overall today, and all the other things your brain forgets when you run as a sleep deprived autopilot. So I built a tracker called Baba, with iCloud sync (so my gf knows what’s up to), and a red light inspired dark mode, so I can sleep again after feeding.
On TestFlight if anyone wants to give it a go.
Design has been influenced by culture in many ways. Computer desktops and folders have been influenced by Western office culture around paper documents and filing cabinets. Designers reproduced familiar objects as digital icons.
So I was wondering what would have happened if these would designers would be influenced by ancient Japanese culture with scrolls, lacquer boxes and more spatial navigation. So Astra did that imagination for me.
I might build this..
