Projection seems to be the norm these days. If I say “I really like tacos,” there is always some weirdo that jumps on with some low IQ bullshit like “What you’re saying is you hate burritos.” No, I said what I was saying, you implied your perspective and got yourself worked up because your stupid. Now, apply this to politics, I say “If you can here illegally, you should be forced to go back,” what some low IQ leftist repeats “So you’re saying you hate brown people.” There needs to be a study on how we have the most educated populace ever to be recorded, but logic seems to have disappeared.

Our Constitutions lay out the ability of the People to control government, if we will simply exercise those core, civil rights enumerated in our Constitutions. The Separation of Powers is set up to chain the government to its delegated authority, and only that, holding out of the general powers of government all of our civil rights. The Departments who work at the pleasure of the Governor, are bound only to faithfully enforce the laws of the state, not make them. The government says it won't enforce certain NFA provisions. But the laws haven't disappeared. What happens when the next administration changes course? An FFL could win its legal battle and still go bankrupt defending itself. The process is the punishment. #2A #NFA #ATF

John Locke warned about government manipulation of interest rates over 300 years ago. Today, the Federal Reserve influences the cost of money across our economy. I believe it's time to seriously consider abolishing it—with a credible replacement. My latest article: robertruss2.substack.com/p/y…

When did freedom become something Americans have to justify? Want a firearm? Prove your need. Want to start a business? Ask permission. Want to use your property? Get approval. Shouldn't the government have to justify restricting liberty instead? New article: AboveGroundGear.com

During the 2020 riots: • Dallas: approximately $5 million in reported damage. • Minneapolis: more than $350 million in reported damage. • Los Angeles: approximately $171 million in reported damage Now juxtapose those outcomes with each state’s approach to armed self-defense. Why were the losses so dramatically different? Police response and political leadership certainly matter. But I believe the prospect of armed resistance matters, too. A mob has more reason to hesitate when its intended victims can defend themselves. An armed society is a polite society.
Europe on fire proves the value of our Second Amendment. As arsonists, rioters and looters swarmed the streets of Paris Sunday night, French police were completely ineffective and President Emmanuel Macron and his wife were off attending a concert, which featured Céline Dion. Well-planned rioting and thievery are taking place throughout France and other European countries. Some say the actions are coordinated by the extreme far left and will continue unabated. France is still six months away from its next presidential election. Europe is on fire. Its victims are on their own. Extreme anti-gun laws throughout the continent have helped fuel the fires. France has some of the strictest anti-gun laws in the world. For a permit to purchase a “sporting arm”—not a handgun or a semi-automatic rifle—the applicant must be 18 years old and possess a valid hunting license or a shooting club membership. The applicant must also have completed and passed a medical exam, a mental health exam, an extensive criminal background check and government-approved firearm safety training. Once they’ve completed all of these legal requirements, they are required to submit an application to their local police. This alone can take months or even years. Many applicants have been rejected for no reason. Even if they manage to pass the requirements and purchase a firearm, concealed carry is outlawed. Gun safes are required. Ammunition must be stored separately, and law enforcement can conduct an in-home inspection whenever they want. Anyone caught violating these rules can face the loss of the firearm, stiff fines and years behind bars. France’s stiff anti-gun laws have had a horrific impact on the ongoing crime spree. One female shop owner in Paris tried to reason with the masked rioters as they calmly walked past her into her shop and stole her merchandise. “What’s the point of doing this?” she asked the criminals who paid her no mind. If she had a firearm, she might have been able to stop them, right? This is the point where many will point to our Second Amendment and claim that the riots spreading across Europe could never happen here. Unfortunately, that is not true. We have far too many large America cities where the Second Amendment has been bankrupted by local politicians, where the crazy French gun-ownership requirements seem almost par for the course, where only the bad guys have guns. Try to buy an AR, magazines and ammunition in New York, Boston or Washington D.C. and you will soon learn this is true. Millions of Americans are being stripped of their Second Amendment rights by their state and local politicians. Honest, hard-working Americans are serving decades in state prisons for “offenses” that aren’t even considered illegal in free states. Meanwhile, those of us who live in states that recognize the value of the Second Amendment often take for granted the pain and suffering the victims and their families are going through. “Move!” we tell them. “Get out of New York!” This, friends, needs to change, and we can help make the change. When we hear about the decades in prison someone received in a deep blue state for an “offense” that’s not even considered a crime in the rest of the country, we should be spurred into action. After all, we are still one country. Our Second Amendment rights are simply magnificent. They allow us to defend ourselves. However, we need to ensure that every American has equal access to these rights—as the Founders intended—regardless of where they have chosen to live. We need to make this a key issue while we have a President and an administration who value both our concerns and the Second Amendment. We need Second Amendment rights and protections for every American. @2AFDN

Thomas Jefferson knew Beccaria to be correct in his writing about arms and self defense, that is why he republished the wording. Many or our Founders knew it to be so; that unarmed men are more easily assaulted than those equipped and prepared to defend their own persons and property. Police and Law Enforcement of all types are Second Responders, that is why they carry chalk to draw lines around bodies and crime scene tape to keep gawkers from stepping in the evidence. Our legislators know this as well, they simply will not admit it. @DainjaRuss33 @HT_GunWriter @JohnPetrolino @charliekirk11 @CherylToddGFR @KenDBerryMD @regularguyguns @Guns_Gadgets @fourboxesdiner @TateAdamiak

You never signed a social contract. Neither did I. Yet we're told our participation in society constitutes consent to government authority. But if refusing an order can cost you your career, livelihood, or retirement, is that consent or coercion? My latest article: robertruss2.substack.com/p/t… #IndividualLiberty #SocialContract

This young man, Kaylub Giamanco, father of two girls in the building at Silver Rail Elementary School in Ben, Oregon, by chance happened to be driving past when he spotted a gunman. He heard shots and retrieved his lawfully possessed and properly stored handgun and ran to the sound of gunfire. He did not wait for help or backup, he ran into danger to offensively confront a criminal who was murdering innocent children and their teachers. A very brave teacher threw her phone at the shooter and tried to tackle and wrest the shotgun from him, buying time but not successfully stopping the rampage. Mr. Giamanco threw something at him that did end it though, as was his absolute right. @regularguyguns @Guns_Gadgets @Hunter_Eagleman @HT_GunWriter @KenDBerryMD @TexasRepublic71 @TNHouseReps @CherylToddGFR @JohnPetrolino @GunWashington @fourboxesdiner @QueenAnticommie @SteveLovesAmmo

Disagreement is not disrespect. Offense is not oppression. Being challenged is not being attacked. And someone refusing to validate your opinion doesn't make them your enemy. When did we become so afraid of being wrong that we started treating disagreement as hostility? Read my latest article: [Link] #FreeSpeech #CivilDiscourse

If District Attorneys and Judges were held accountable for recidivism, crime would be next to zero. There problem in this country is that elected officials are never held accountable for their actions. On all levels of government.

After 20+ years in the Air Force, I learned something about entrepreneurship: Leadership experience doesn't automatically translate into business success. Veterans don't need guaranteed contracts or lower standards. We need mentorship, introductions, customers, and a fair chance to compete. Don't just thank a veteran. Ask what they're building.
