Purpose of life (imho):
1) Your life’s purpose is what you choose, at the moment you decide. It can change.
2) To help the next generation. To help the previous generation, as they have helped you. To help your peers; as we can lean on each other, and accomplish more together.
3) To enjoy life.
What would you do with this $1 coin? I’ve had it for over a decade, and now the purchasing power is probably 60% of what it used to be.
Newest “scam” I see:
Advertisements for
“City Name” Program for foundations, landscaping, house improvements. It’s not sponsored by the actual city. It’s just some random vendor claiming to give you discounts for work.
Yesterday, I ran for two hours. Speed of 4.5 mph. I’m doing it for me; my goal. The goal of being the best I can be; doing something that is difficult and requires discipline.
The delusion of running a sub 3 hour marathon at age 55. I don’t know if I’ll get there. I would have to run twice as fast as I do now.
In my mind, I would need to run 17 miles per day, while I fight the natural physical burdens of the last 30 years.
I think about the improbable accomplishments I have achieved in the past. Getting into all the honor classes even though I was not good enough on the assessment. Acing the US History AP exam a year after my peers. Learning to swim freestyle at age 40. Acquiring and closing 32 escrows in a year.
These accomplishments mean nothing to anybody else. And so will the running. Yet, it may inspire anybody who takes a glimpse that anything is possible.
See a destination. Create a roadmap. Follow the plan. Build consistency. Fall down and get back up. Make choices and reiterate to being better than before.
You got this. Keep moving. See you along the journey, and at the finish line.
Are you thinking of moving?
This photo represents about 1/6th of a beautiful home for sale.
The property tax alone is about $7100 per month. The house insurance is about $1200 per month.
20% downpayment is about
$1.4 million. Your monthly mortgage payment might be around $35,000 depending on your program.
That’s all I can tell you for now. There’s a lot of paperwork and privacy restrictions involved.

One person’s perspective:
50% fewer parts to produce. Probably costs less than $25,000 to make. Future is driverless. Heading towards $0.40 per mile to operate; that’s $12 for 300 miles. Charges at home (for now) while you sleep. Connected to StarLink.

My workout today at my new age was amazing... I am still feeling very strong.

We grew a number of apricot trees, and sold 3 for $15 each so far. Next year, the price will be $25 each for the remaining eight.
We have a dozen new sprouts this year.
Now I’m trying dragon fruit seeds. I think we discovered our next business.
I found 40 cents.
That’s $61.10 now.
Should I put it into TSLA, NVDA, Bitcoin, QQQ, SPY or something else?
Question: Why should I scrape together whatever money I can acquire?
My answer: Because if I can grow my nest egg, and let it grow, then it allows me more freedom to do activities that I want to do.
I envision more and more people getting the hint, and growing their own nest eggs.
But in my previous post, nobody is making the commitment, even if it just for a week. I understand; everybody is focused on their current lives. It’s outside their norm.
But I was born outside the norm. I seem to be a little bit obsessive/compulsive. Hopefully I can harness that energy to become the person I envision.
Day by day, it’s a test. A test of what you can accomplish.
Total now is $60.70; transferring to my brokerage account.
Are you scraping together your spare change yet?
Continuation of the apricot story.
A nice couple bought our first sale.
Maybe this venture could be a full fledged business. Only time will tell.
