1 of my all time faves! Wasn’t sure what to think of Eddie when I first met him LOL! But learned he is an elite scout. He cuts out the clutter and calls it like it is. Check the record, Ed !has mentored and helped a large number of people into prof baseball. Taught me a lot.

Proud to see @JURoyals_BB recognized. #webuiltit

📱 COMMUNICATE WITH COLLEGE COACHES THE RIGHT WAY Be yourself. Be confident. But above all else, be respectful. I don’t care if you call your girlfriend “bro”—even though that’s a little strange 😂—but please DO NOT call a college coach “bro,” “dude,” or “man.” Whether it’s an email, text, phone call, or face-to-face conversation, remember who you’re talking to. Coaches are evaluating more than your baseball ability. How you communicate tells them a lot about your maturity, personality, and whether you might fit their program. 🎙️ Damon Lessler shares several other great nuggets on communicating with college coaches in our full C3 Recruits podcast episode. 🎙️ The C3 Recruits September Podcast goes LIVE tomorrow! We’re excited to welcome Johnson University Head Baseball Coach Damon Lessler to talk about one of the most important—and often overlooked—parts of the recruiting process: effective communication with college coaches. 📧 Emails — How do you get a coach to actually open yours? 📱 Texts — What should you say, and how often should you follow up? 📞 Phone Calls — How should players prepare and what are coaches looking for? We’ll get a college coach’s perspective on the best ways for recruits to approach each of these avenues and, most importantly, how to stand out in a coach’s crowded inbox. ⚾ Players and parents—this is one you’ll want to catch!
