Here's my First Grade back to school picture. I was 6-years old. Was this kid ready to anchor the news or what?
Fun moment tonight on ABC7 Eyewitness News at 6:00 on this Groundhog Day. Watch closely 😊 @abc7newsbayarea
When a shovel just won’t get the job done! My brother, David, sent me this video of how they got his car unstuck from the snow and ice. He lives in Alexandria, Virginia. Good times!! @abc7newsbayarea

We join the millions of people saddened to hear of the death of Rob Reiner & his wife, Michele Singer Reiner. She was a producer & he was an actor, director, activist &—as @DanAshleyABC7 learned when he interviewed Reiner @cwclub in 2013—great story teller.

I am sadded and stunned to hear of the violent death of Rob Reiner. He was an icon, of course, and someone I was glad to meet. We had a fascinating conversation in 2013 before an audience in the Commonwealth Club World Affairs. @abc7newsbayarea
What a meaningful way to start the weekend! Hundreds of people coming out for a great cause! Check it out!

Lights, Camera, Action!
Great to see film and movie production returning to San Francisco. This is the view from my office, where they are staging some sort of production. @abc7newsbayarea
My youngest son, the pilot, took passengers to Alaska today. He sent me this amazing video of the Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau. @abc7newsbayarea
Happy Saturday!
Here is how I’m spending my day – painting the pergola over my patio. Thank goodness heights don’t bother me! It’s a scorcher up here!! Have a great weekend. @abc7newsbayarea
Brutal commute! Certainly changed since I was there. Tolls are commonplace in California.
Over two hours from Mt Pleasant to West Ashley!! This is horrible for commuters and clearly shows we need to do something. I will float the idea once again for an outer loop… 726. Four lanes each way… starts in northern Mt Pleasant… stretches through Nexton, Knightsville and ends in Ravenel. To pay for it we use tolls. Thoughts?
I hope so!
@DanAshleyABC7 Hi Dan. With The Start of the MLB Regular Season Coming Up Next Week Do you expect any improvement this season for the Giants?

The multi-talented @DanAshleyABC7 warming up for his performance at the annual Christmas gathering of the Broadcast Legends. Always a fun event. @benfongtorres & @donsanchezabc7 are on the bill, too. #abc7now #danashleymusic
