I used to know what a flagrant foul in basketball was and a pass interference in football. Those days are gone. #bbn
I keep waiting on someone to say Notre Dame could beat either of these teams… @finebaum
Congratulations to Indiana for winning the Rose Bowl. If Alabama is going to lose, I can accept losing to an undefeated, number one team in the nation with the Heisman winner, a well-coached squad, and a team that plays with exceptional discipline. 😊
As I’m waiting for the Rose Bowl game, I’m reminded of a special memory from my college years. I once worked for James Nesbit, who played in the 1926 Rose Bowl when Alabama defeated Washington 20–19 to cap the 1925 season. At the time, Southern football was considered “soft,” and
critics said Alabama didn’t belong on the same field with Washington.
Mr. Nesbit would tell me stories of that trip west, of a young Bear Bryant playing, meeting the famous Pat O’Brien, being wide-eyed on the West Coast, and hearing all the doubters who said they didn’t belong.
He was truly a gentleman’s gentleman, and I loved listening to his stories about the early days of Alabama football, especially that unforgettable trip to the Rose Bowl. Roll Tide! #RollTide
I am old enough to remember the pattern, if the SEC does well in the bowls, the national media will say, “Bowls don’t matter.” But if SEC doesn’t do well, then the line is “SEC is overrated.” #SEC
Remember this play at the end of the half and it changed the game. Amazing. Teague became a first round pick after this play.

“Many of my critics answer what they imagine that I meant, rather than what I really said. The critic fixes some person with a label and then proceeds to deduce everything from the label.”

Why do Georgia fans trash talk Bama fans before the game? They can’t after the game. Roll Tide!! #RollTide
To kill for words is evil.
To celebrate a death for words is evil.
To think truth can be silenced by a single death is foolish.
To continue to love and speak truth is victorious.

Success isn’t about talent. It’s about consistency, faith, and refusing to quit.
