OpenAI’s next-gen model, GPT-5, is set to drop as early as next month.
It will be the first GPT model to fuse general AI with its powerful inference tech, the “o-series,” unlocking new multi-tasking abilities.
Microsoft is already scaling up servers to handle it - and Altman says the model answered a question he couldn’t grasp.
“I had a strange feeling of uselessness,” he admitted, after GPT-5 nailed the answer instantly.
