Journalists, podcasters, editors, etc.: Ahmad is available for interviews. Hear what’s happening in Hebron directly from one of its residents whose home was just demolished. Lmk if interested.
Dani looks incredibly young for someone who remembers the taste of fruit in the 1930s
Stellar typo, @YishaiFleisher . Kol hakavod to your unconscious— marvelous work!

A nuclear state & army w advanced weapons tech has been kidnapping children, raping captives, demolishing homes, sniping journos, slaughtering livestock & torching fields for 8+ decades a US support & “allies” want to frame self defense as fueling a “cycle of violence.”
I’m grieving the deaths of the two Israeli soldiers killed in Hebron today, and praying for the full & speedy recovery of those who were injured.
I’ve spoken out loudly this week against Israel’s occupation of the West Bank, which imposes violence on a daily basis, and I will continue to do so. But violence is not the path to ending it — or to achieving safety, freedom, and peace for both Palestinians and Israelis.
And neither is collective punishment or ethnic cleansing of an entire neighborhood, or punishing millions of people for the criminal act of two, which Netanyahu has promised to enact in response.
I’ve seen a lot this week and I’ll have more to say about in the coming days (I’m on my way home shortly). There is a path to ending this excruciating cycle of violence. It starts by insisting that every life is sacred, that everyone is created in God’s image.
For now: Shabbat Shalom, to everyone who believes in the hard work of making peace & justice a reality, for everyone.

Brad, ur in Palestine. Pls exercise some humility. Listen more, lecture less. Framing the targeting of soldiers as a “cycle of violence” - rather than resistance 2 apartheid & genocide- while also not demanding US sanctions/arms embargo is asking Palestinians to die politely.

“I was wrong,” the preeminent Palestinian-American historian Rashid Khalidi told the Bad Hasbara podcast.
“I probably misjudged things early on,” he said, revisiting his 2024 assessment that the strategic potential of Iran and the “Axis of Resistance,” and their ability to confront Israel, had been overstated.

Explain how the killing of two soldiers manning a checkpoint as a part of an illegal military occupation was a “criminal act” please

I don’t know much about this couple or their shitty program, and it definitely sounds like a suboptimal situation, but it seems to me that if anyone should be used to settling and soldiering on, it’s her!

It's true: the legal status of Palestinians in the West Bank is not the same as that of Blacks in segregated Mississippi. It's worse. In the Jim Crow South, Black Americans were at least citizens of the country in which they lived.
Judea & Samaria is not Mississippi. This analogy explains your inability to understand why the two state solution was never a solution for the Palestinians. This is a national conflict and not only an endless narrative about picking olives. The Palestinians of Judea and Samaria have rejected peaceful solutions. This should be understood by every Jew that has a moral compass.
