Brockway truck. Built in Cortland, New York, and the town loved them so much they called it Huskie Town, USA, after the Huskie on the hood.
Mack bought Brockway in 1956 but let them keep doing their own thing, and the 361 conventional was one of their best. Tractors, log trucks, wreckers, snow plows. If it was hard work, a 361 did it.
Not sure of the year, but this one has a Detroit 8V-71 in it and listen to it howl!
A wildcat strike in 1977, and Mack shut the plant down for good. But Cortland still throws a Brockway truck show every year, and some of those Huskies are still screaming.

MISSOURI HAS NO ILLEGALS; go figure... shouldn't the other states do the same? Missouri's approach to the problem of illegal immigration appears to be more advanced, sophisticated, strict, and effective than anything to date in Arizona. Does the White House appreciate what Missouri has done? So, why doesn't Missouri receive attention? Answer: There are no illegals in Missouri to demonstrate. (And the Media doesn't want to publicize that fact!)
The "Show Me" state has again shown us how it should be done. There needs to be more publicity and exposure regarding what Missouri has done. Please pass this around.
In 2007, Missouri placed on the ballot a proposed constitutional amendment designating English as the official language of Missouri. In November 2008, nearly 90% voted in favor! Thus, English became the official language for ALL governmental activity in Missouri. No individual has the right to demand government services in a language OTHER than English.
In 2008, a measure was passed that required the Missouri Highway Patrol and other law enforcement officials to verify the immigration status of any person arrested, and inform federal authorities if the person is found to be in Missouri illegally. Missouri law enforcement officers receive specific training with respect to enforcement of federal immigration laws.
In Missouri, illegal immigrants do NOT have access to taxpayer benefits such as food stamps or health care through Missouri Health NET.
In 2009, a measure was passed that ensures Missouri's public institutions of higher education do NOT award financial aid to individuals who are illegally in the United States.
In Missouri, all post-secondary institutions of higher education are required to annually certify to the Missouri Dept. of Higher Education that they have NOT knowingly awarded financial aid to students who are unlawfully present in the United States .
It is important to remember, Missouri has been far more proactive in addressing this horrific problem. Missouri has made it clear that illegal immigrants are NOT WELCOME in the state and they will NOT receive public benefits at the expense of Missouri taxpayers.

JCB has received official approval to sell and deploy its hydrogen combustion engine for real-world use. This marks a major milestone for heavy machinery transitioning away from fossil fuels.
Unlike electric-only solutions, this engine runs on hydrogen but maintains the familiar performance and refueling speed of diesel equipment. That makes it especially practical for construction and industrial operations.
Hydrogen combustion produces no CO₂ at the tailpipe, addressing one of the hardest sectors to decarbonize. Heavy-duty machines are responsible for a significant share of industrial emissions globally.
By adapting internal combustion rather than replacing it entirely, JCB is offering a lower-disruption path to cleaner machinery. Existing workflows, skills, and infrastructure can still be used.
The approval signals growing regulatory confidence in hydrogen as a viable fuel for industry. It also suggests that zero-emission construction sites may arrive sooner than expected.

They called him the Truck Stop Killer. Robert Ben Rhoades was a truck driver that drove a Peterbilt out of Houston and turned his sleeper cab into a torture chamber. For 15 years, 1975 to 1990 he went after hitchhikers, runaways and women at truck stops, people he figured nobody would come looking for.
He got caught right here in Arizona. Early morning, April 1, 1990, DPS trooper Mike Miller stopped on I-10 near Casa Grande to check on a semi with its hazards on. He found a woman chained up in the sleeper. Rhoades tried to tell him it was consensual. Miller didn’t buy it for a second, and that arrest finally cracked the whole thing open.
He’s confirmed to have killed three people, including a 14-year-old girl named Regina Kay Walters and a newlywed couple, Patricia Walsh and Douglas Zyskowski. Investigators believe the real number could be as high as 50. He’s in his 80s now, doing life without parole in Illinois.
Every trade has its monsters. This one wore our uniform, and it still makes my skin crawl. Thank God for one trooper who trusted his gut. 🇺🇸
