My 2026 tech predictions 👇
Incremental AI. Confused users. Fewer breakthroughs than promised.
Siri barely improves, AI browsers stall, Meta glasses spread, and we’re still unclear where AI actually belongs.

Quick Duo app check-in: @claudeai, @todoist, @mercuryweather look great. @nytimes Games looks okay-ish in portrait (was looking forward to crossword time on the Duo). Surprised to see that @ReadwiseReader has not been updated at all. That was the first app I checked.
Arc’s single best innovation was opening a new profile in the current window. Still something that Safari and Chrome don’t do.

I wonder how many of the Duo cover screen problems could be solved by collapsing the keyboard and promoting dictation. Siri dictation is better than it used to be, but @WisprFlow is still better than Siri dictation.
Here's a feature request for @livebricked + iPhone Duo. Set the Brick to only allow certain apps in screen open mode. Adds friction to using apps on the front display while making them work on the inside. Don't think Apple has done this yet for Focus modes, but Brick could.
iPhone Duo should tie focus modes screen time to inner/outer display. Don't want to check Instagram or work email? Set those to inner screen only.
i made a thing.

Haven't seen much discourse about Claude Docs since it was announced. Felt like this could be the start of something, so I hope it's not going anywhere and that there’s more to come.
It's great that Claude projects now share memory with main chats. Next: projects should learn from each other. Consultants shouldn't retrain Claude for every client, and coders shouldn't re-explain their preferences on every repo. @claudeai, can we make it happen? Maybe opt in?
Perhaps I’m “old” but no grown ass business should be texting me invoices. If you want me to pay you, email is the only acceptable means of communicating with me.
Anthropic is stealth building a Notion replacement with Claude Artifacts + Docs. I've spent the last 6 months using MCP to sync with Notion, but now I'm thinking, why bother? Not fully ready to give up Notion, but it's not hard to see how I might if Claude keeps cooking.
Mostly loving the Claude Projects beta, but it burned through 25% of my weekly Max credits on day one. I changed the default coordination and threads models to Sonnet, down from Opus, but I’m hopeful Claude updates Projects to better manage tokens.
