Garrett Wilson says that a freshman Marvin Harrison Jr. changed the way he worked at Ohio State “I'm thinking I’m doing good winning the sprint, but they’re mad at me because I didn't touch the line. I didn’t really get it yet. I didn’t really realize it's not just the outcome, it's the process that got you there as well. I didn’t fully buy into that, it took some time. I think that hurt me...” “I wanted to be a starting player. I felt like I was good enough, and I was good enough. It was just everything else. I wasn’t bought in, I didn’t really get it yet... They had me grow up real fast, I ain’t gonna lie. They had me right.” “It’s probably the best room that you can ask for because everyone’s different. We got a dude like Marvin Harrison Jr. who comes in and he changes the whole room.” “Marvin Harrison comes in the room… No freshman comes in and changes my whole mindset on how I’m gonna go to work every day. How I’m gonna go to practice. And what I’m gonna spend my time doing when I’m outside this facility. Back in the facility.” “He changed my whole perspective on that. You got dudes like that coming in. It’s just a different room. J-Mo came in, that’s my best friend for life, my roommate, and we was mad every day we wasn’t starting. When our time came, we just was trying to ball. It’s just a family, man. It’s special what they got going on there.”
