Going to drop some thoughts of the current situation here for everyone: This was not the outcome we wanted, and we had no intention of causing harm to the degen community. What happened with Karen was poorly planned and, in hindsight, not the right move. We sincerely apologize to everyone affected. We introduced Karen with the hope of reigniting excitement, bringing new traders and eyes back into the Danny ecosystem. The intention was to leverage the hype and attention around her to secure sponsors and new eyes for marketing opportunities —just as we successfully did with Danny originally. Our ultimate goal was to use these opportunities to get funded to produce more episodes, content, and growth for the ecosystem. Unfortunately, due to poor planning, the launch did not go as intended. We were sniped very heavily and were unable to control the launch in any way that aligned with our vision. The bonding occurred within seconds, and once that happened, the decision was made to continue forward, given that people were already participating in the coin, joining the Telegram, and finding the website. A relaunch at that point did not make sense. To be clear, we have not sold Karen, and the dev wallet remains fully intact and will use this supply to reward the Danny community in the best way we can. We are actively working to find solutions to address the current situation and ensure the stability of the ecosystem we have spent months building. We completely understand the comments, hate, and anger directed toward us right now. To be clear, we don’t blame any of you for feeling this way. We take full responsibility for our actions, and we hope that the steps we take moving forward help us regain your trust the best we can. The amazing community we’ve built has come together with incredible insights, solutions, and ideas on how we can move forward. We are listening, and we are working with you to bring back the energy and momentum we once had. Together, we’ll keep pushing Danny and this ecosystem towards our goals. We believed that the fun, lighthearted banter and humor associated with Karen could recapture the degen energy that defines this community. In hindsight, we realize this was not the right move and may not have resonated in the way we had hoped. We are still here, and we will continue to work.
