#Update #Statement Hello, my dedicated pups! This is Danuki Dalmatian and Phrontistery speaking. I think it's time to explain what has been going on, and it's about a user named YirbyV. For anyone who remembered a few years ago where there had been a HUGE debacle in what happened between YirbyV, Dalia and Goather. Back then, it was believed that Yirby was framed for his actions. More recent documentations suggests the truth is not what we believed. According to a shocking trove of information I had received recently, further light has been shed into what happened on that day back in 2023, which points to Yirby having in fact committed inappropriate actions instead of the former. In other words, Yirby has been the primary reason that the 101 Dalmatian Street fandom had suffered drama several times the past few years up till recently. And since then, I am told that he had been pulling this stunt on several others as well. The documentation supports these allegations. In the end, it all comes down to the fact these people are/were minors. We had come to the conclusion that YirbyV and his actions as reported are harmful.... no, HAVE been harmful to the 101DS community. I owe a SINCERE deep-hearted apology to those people, especially Daliah who had tried hard to warn us about Yirby's behavior and actions. We did not take her reports as seriously as we should have. I, too, fell for Yirby's explanations, and I foolishly believed that he was the innocent upright fellow, while the former was the accuser. In hindsight, I realize now that YirbyV was asking for commissions and requesting art from members, while delivering me gifts in order to get in good graces with members like myself. That turned out to be a pattern of suspicious behavior that I didn't pick up until recently. In fact, there have been several others who were quick to see the red flags of his behavior before any of us, including me, did. Daliah and others had done their best to share the truth to us, and instead of hearing their plea, we've shut them out. And I'm ashamed to say that I never had gotten the full truth, and acted against my better judgement. Phron had on other hand been too busy with other things to address it. And because of that, Phron couldn't be critical enough with the information, and the other issues in the community had put a lot of stress on him. Lives and reputations have been ruined as a result of all of this, and more lives are sure to follow if we don't address it. For this, me, Phron and anyone else share the same guilt for not acting upon it sooner. Minors should never have to go through such a horrific experience. Minors should NEVER be targeted upon by such harmful people, then be painted as the enemy when they ask for help. That goes against everything that the 101DS fandom -and other communities- stand for and it should never have gone in this direction. That is why I am/have been removing any content I had made for him, including ones that he had ever commissioned me or asked me to make. I'm also taking down any artwork that had ever involved his OC, and his influence on others' OC's. I'm also banning/removing him from any 101DS group-chats he's ever been in. As a community, we have to be more mindful, and be more open to listening to every side of the story of certain events before coming to a proper conclusion as a group, instead of silencing those who raise valid concerns. Now, we must take necessary steps in rebuilding trust we've broken and to ensure that no incidents like this happens again in the future or ever. Thank you all for listening.👋
