Show us the Republican plan to restore and defend abortion rights. There isn’t one.
Show us the Republican plan to fight climate change. There isn’t one.
In fact, Republicans are making them all worse.

Don’t try it in Connecticut.
If Mississippi wants to hunt down patients and doctors who come here for abortion or gender-affirming care, they’re in for a rude awakening. CT Dems passed the Reproductive Freedom Defense Act.
Mississippi: wrong in 1861, wrong in 1963, wrong now.
NEW: Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch is demanding access to information about Mississippi residents who obtain abortions or gender-affirming care in other states.
She and 18 other GOP AGs say investigators need it to enforce their states' laws.

The book banners are never on the right side of history.
Brookfield is the latest CT town to shut down an effort to ban a book about LGBTQ+ kids.
The two votes to ban it came from Republicans. Expect the GOP to nominate more book-banners this year.

$760 billion in PPP loans were forgiven.
That’s $360 billion more than this Administration’s student debt relief program.
And, several Republican members of Congress who opposed student debt relief benefited from those PPP loans.

Great to see so many changemakers at the Safer Communities Summit today — including @POTUS! Thanks to @ChrisMurphyCT for organizing it, and to him and @SenBlumenthal for all their work on last year’s bipartisan gun legislation. CT has proven it: together, we can end #GunViolence.

Watchdog identifies nearly a dozen active hate and antigovernment groups in Connecticut trib.al/EBKYDti
“The Southern Poverty Law Center, which tracks hate & extremism around the country, designated Moms for Liberty “anti-government extremist” group (that) use parents’ rights as a vehicle to attack public education & make schools less welcoming for minority and LGBTQ+ students.”
To its members, it’s a grassroots army of “joyful warriors” who “don’t co-parent with the government.” To anti-hate researchers, it’s a well-connected extremist group that attacks inclusion in schools. to.pbs.org/43Vx4xC
