We do love the support we receive from lots of academics who buy our shirts. A few years ago we were at the @AustAssocResEd conference at @QUT. I wasn't really keen on doing it - we were busy & it was nearly Christmas.

Always remember the day our Twitter blew up when a character from Channel 4's #WeAreLadyParts was wearing one of our shirts. No idea it was going to happen, thanks Twitter! And you should definitely watch the show - we loved it! #NotAWillingParticipant #Episode5

@jennifer_philp We do have a lot of non-Indigenous supporters (here in Australia & overseas) who do purchase our designs which is awesome.

The broader purpose of @DarkDisturb, beyond tshirts, is about curating projects.

Vernon is the artist and designer of all @DarkDisturb's products, and the exercise is in essence an artwork. But I do the work behind the scenes.

To clarify, whitefellas don't properly understand the designs or the context that we present.

Our product doesn't sell at non-Indigenous market events. White people don't understand the designs or their context. (LW)

We are sitting here writing these tweets together. I was going to tweet 'Vernon's first passion was screen-printing' but then I realised it's actually drawing. He replied: 'Yep. I'm a drawer.' (LW)
