La verdad si tiene mucho potencial Milly como supergirl, de dio un toque único
James Gunn says the Milly Alcock fired rumor is false.
The rumor exploded after Alcock wiped Supergirl from her Instagram, including her original casting announcement.
Now Gunn has responded.
“Oh brother. You guys just have to stop listening to BS.”
He was responding to three rumors making the rounds:
Milly Alcock was fired as Supergirl.
Matt Reeves is off The Batman Part II.
And a Man of Tomorrow test screening supposedly went badly because of a dark ending involving the death of a major DC hero.
Gunn says all three “couldn’t be more false.”
He also revealed that Peter Safran only just saw the first Director’s Cut of Man of Tomorrow on Friday.
That means the supposed test screening couldn’t have happened.
As for Alcock, this is the first direct word from DC’s side since the firing rumor took off.
She still hasn’t explained why the Supergirl posts disappeared.
And Gunn hasn’t addressed the Instagram wipe itself.
But according to Gunn, she has not been fired.
