One of the biggest weapons in your arsenal is that it's your decision when to have a bet.
The start of the season is always a little tricky but it also provides good opportunities as well. Don't be afraid to get involved, but never feel forced to either.
As a punter you will find what works for you. Maybe you thrive on heavy ground at Hereford on a Tuesday. Maybe you are a volume/turn-over punter. Maybe you're a three times a week punter.
The betting landscape is full of different people. No doubt to make a good living your turn over must be high. However, turn-over doesn't mean lots of bad bets.
For those that want to solely follow my advice I find they are happy to have stints where we are quiet. That doesn't mean the service is dead. Chat rooms are alight and the website info is there for all. Tomorrow we will look ahead to the weekend's racing in the short-term ante-post markets.
