one thing i've learned over the years is that the best opportunities usually come when nobody is paying attention. by the time everyone is talking about something, a lot of the generational upside is already gone. i'd rather spend my time finding things that have potential before they get popular and build my positions while they're still overlooked. not every trade will work out, and that's fine. you only need to be right on a few big ones to completely change your life.
