I didn’t have to buy tickets from myself 😂 Seats to a game are perishable. I didn’t want them empty.
We would go to schools , churches, community centers, hospitals etc and offer to send a bus and give them free tickets. Unfortunately, they didn’t always show up. if they didn’t , we would find someone else the next game
6th man is real. Plus it’s the least expensive marketing there is. Mavs games are a blast. You experience it, you want to come back.

Elon Musk has poured half a billion dollars (so far) into these midterms to protect his power.
But this is a democracy.
Power belongs to the people, not one trillionaire trying to buy Congress.

Dear Texas,
Today is the LAST DAY to vote early in person.

I’m against all of these.
The new force in politics and elections is independents.
The fact independents are NOT an organized party, means we can individually do what we think is right, without regard to party politics. That is a force we have not seen before. And it is only growing as we all become increasingly disgusted by party politics.
Pushing these would backfire on Democrats.
My biggest concern is that if there is a clean sweep by Democrats of the House, Senate and Presidency in 2028, they will:
1. Make DC and Puerto Rico states to gain a strong majority in the Senate.
2. Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority.
3. Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority.
This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word.
All that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one.

What a heartbreaking week it has been. Sir Patrick Stewart was a friend, a colleague, and a magnificent actor. From the stage to the bridge of the Enterprise, he brought intelligence, grace, and a deep sense of humanity to everything he did. Captain Picard stood for the best of us, and so did the man who played him. I was filled with affection and admiration for him and his work.
My heart goes out to Sunny and his family. He will be deeply missed.
Absolute legend may you rest in peace 🙏

Just in: Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards will undergo an arthroscopic procedure on his ailing right knee and miss up to two months, sources tell ESPN.
Saw this coming from a mile away - this tech is perhaps the dumbest thing we have ever spent resources on.
Can anyone confirm if Dwight Powell is sitting on the Mavs bench for tonight’s game against the Pacers? #MFFL
The most disturbing part of the Granada Theater era is that ownership did not find to a group carry the business and venue into the next 80 years. 👎🏼 👎🏼 👎🏼
After 80 years, the Granada Theater is closing. Concerts will continue through April, but the restaurant is closing on Nov. 1.

Just got back from early voting in Dallas, Texas and it was a long line - it moved quickly. The location in Dallas already had over 700 voters, per the volunteers/worker, which they believed is beyond what is typical for a non-presidential election.
It was noticeable!
